Tell us about yourself

I am best know as a Makeup Artist, Author, Influencer and Product Development Expert - and also Mum to my dog Teddy! I've been working in the industry for over 20 years - you might know me from some of my Vogue covers, from some of the famous people that I do make for, like Sienna Miller, Victoria Beckham and Cara Delevingne - or you may have used some of the makeup products that I've created for Burberry Beauty. You may also have seen my website, www.wendyrowe.com or my YouTube Channel @wendyrowe or read my beauty book: Eat Beautiful.

There are many different elements to my world!

I love Sarah Chapman Dynamic Defence Moisturiser and Sarah Chapman's Hydrating Booster and 3D sheet mask, Susanne Kaufman does a great Eye Cream and Joelle Ciocco is a brand I love for Cream Cleanser and toner. REN do some amazing skincare and I love their Micellar Water and their Ready Steady Glow toner. I like Tracie Martyn's Enzyme Exfoliant for helping to decongest the skin and Decleor skincare is another staple brand for me too - their Aurabsolu sheet mask and their Aromessence Night Balm are musts, SK11 also do a great sheet mask and 111 Skin do some really good masks as well; that's a new brand for me.

I do use a range of makeup brands at work and carry a lot of different products for every eventuality in my kit, but most of the time I use Burberry - I genuinely love the Burberry makeup and always find myself going back to it. I suppose it's because I've been so closely involved in the product development of the brand, that I've inevitably ended up making products that I love and that didn't exist which I needed! Things that are super easy to use and that are undetectable with really luxury, innovative formulas. Hero products from Burberry in particular are the Face Contour Pen, the Fresh Glow Fluid in Nude and Golden Radiance, the BB cream, Burberry Sheer concealer, the Fresh Glow Foundation which is something I use on pretty much everyone for shoots, shows and red carpet - Burberry Earthy Blush because there isn't anything else like it out there; it's not really a blush, it's more of a sculpting product that adds sophistication to the face whether applied on the cheeks, under the chin or even on the eyes or down the nose. Burberry Blendable Kohl eyeliner and Burberry Cat Liner are staples for the eyes and the Burberry Lip Contour Pen is a product that no other brand does; I am obsessed with these pens for using to create a fuller looking mouth, for using all over the lips as a lip colour, or even as a cream cheek or the ultimate nude eye shadow; they are amazing! Oh and of course the Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick in Nude Blush which is a shade I wear myself. Aside from Burberry beauty, Cle de Peau do great eyeshadows and I love a gold and brown tined palette; that's something I use a lot at work. Kevyn Aucoin do some good matte browns and an intense matte black eyeshadow too which I love and for cream textures, RMS do some great cream eyeshadows called Eye Polish and they are all natural too made from coconut, which is great. Anastasia of Beverly Hills do some really good products Eyebrows in really good, natural tones that work really well - I also like Glossier's Boy Brow too. Mac's blot powder is an all time staple in my kit and it comes in a really good range of shades too, and Glossier Cloud Paint is a new favourite for cheeks (I sometimes also use it as a bit of a lip stain). La Bouche Rouge is the ultimate for red lipsticks - Regal Red is a full on matte red shade that suits everyone and Innocent Red is the ideal sheer, red stain. For mascara, I love MINA waterproof definition mascara in black, or Bobbi Brown No Smudge mascara in black - I wouldn't be without those at work! Makeup Forever Flash palette is also an essential for me - it has really intense, highly pigmented cream colours that you can mix together and create amazing editorial looks with. I can do anything with that palette!

Kerastase's Volumising Shampoo and their Nutrive Masqueintensive are great and I love Susanne Kaufman's shampoo and conditioner too; it really suits my hair type. Unite Hair dust is great for adding long lasting volume and hold at the roots of fine hair; Ken Paves introduced me to that, and Sam McKnight's Cool Girl and Modern Hairspray products are amazing - they really work and they smell and look so good as well. Klorane so a good natural Dry Shampoo and Kiehls Silk Groom is great for helping to condition the ends of my hair. Wet brush is my favourite brand of hairbrush; it really helps to keep my hair knot free and it's great for after working out or in the shower.

Deborah Lipmann's nail range is really good, especially her top coat. Burberry do great fashion led colours, I always like the trend sets that the put out around show time. Personally, when it comes to my own nail care, I like my nails to just be neat, buffed and filed and I like them quite natural looking without polish. Lorraine Griffin always does a great job of my nails and you can check out her top nail tips on my website https://wendyrowe.com/style/get-great-nails-lorrai...

I love Decleor's dry oil for the body - I like to use that when I'm still wet from the shower as it goes on so quickly and then I just tissue off any excess. Susanne Kaufmann does a really good Anti Ageing Body Serum, REN do a really good Kelp and Magnesium anti fatigue body cream and I also like the Vichy body cream as well. Mia skincare does a product called Workout wonder which I love for after the gym, and Sarah Chapman's Neck and Chest Rejuvenating Complex is a must too. For hands, I like Clarins hand cream
Do you have any beauty secrets or tips?

One of my top secrets for looking amazing is Skinade. It's a sachet that you add to water containing lots of nutrients that help boost collagen production for fresher, more youthful looking skin. It contains a natural source of collaged from freshwater fish, as well as vitamin C MSM, vitamin B, Omega 3 and 6 and L Lysine. If you take the supplement you have to keep going for at least 30 days to see a difference, but believe me, it really works and it's great for a boost. I also swear by taking apple cider vinegar in the morning to help balance the body's acidity levels, as well as organic probiotics. Other than these tricks and tips, most of the things you need to do isn't secret, it's just about working out, using good skincare and getting enough sleep, combined with eating fresh, seasonal food that you prepare from scratch yourself. If you do those things, you will look and feel good

What products are on your wish list right now?
I would love to get my hands on a great LED face mask! I love light therapy at Sarah Chapman in London, but it would be good to have a top up option to use at home - so that is definitely on my wishlist. Other than that, I don't really have much on my wishlist because I'm very fortunate to get sent loads of the brand new skin, makeup and beauty products right as they launch - sometimes before they even launch, and so I've started to do an unboxing feature on my YouTube channel so that you can also experience these brand new products first hand with me as I open them and try them for the first time.
